Kalikå was founded in the mid-1970s out of a desire to create an alternative to the hard and often unsafe toys of the time. With a strong focus on craftsmanship and a pedagogical approach, we began developing products that stimulate imagination, creativity, and development – for small hands and curious minds.
That foundation still guides us today.
Over the years, our range has expanded to include everything from classic soft toys to products for construction, creative play, and science. What ties everything together is our commitment to simplicity, safety, and durability – and above all, meaningful use.
As part of By Willow, we combine Kalikå’s heritage with a more contemporary expression and a broader assortment, where brands like Busy Lizzie contribute with trend-driven accessories for children and young adults.
